What this directory is

Ontario Epoxy Flooring Directory lists and compares 141 epoxy flooring businesses across Ontario, from garage floor coating crews to larger commercial and industrial applicators. It exists for homeowners, property managers, and contractors themselves who want a straight comparison of who actually does good work, built from data rather than whoever bought the most ads that week.

We are also honest about the other half of what we do. Ontario Epoxy Flooring Directory is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we generate enquiries for the providers listed here. If you use our form to ask for a quote, we pass your request along to providers relevant to your request, and we may earn a referral fee for that match. That arrangement is disclosed again on the quote page itself, and it has no bearing on how any business is scored or ranked. A contractor cannot pay to move up the list, and referral relationships never touch the rubric.

Where the listing data comes from

Every profile is built from two sources: public business records (registration details, service areas, contact information) and a synthesis of recent Google review activity. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead we summarise patterns in recent, publicly visible ratings and link out to the business’s actual Google listing so you can read reviews in full and in context.

How rankings are earned

Rankings come from a published rubric applied consistently across all 141 businesses, using the data described above: review volume, rating trends, responsiveness, and other measurable factors. Nothing is discretionary and nothing is for sale. The full breakdown of how scores are calculated is on our /methodology/ page, and it applies the same way whether a business has ten reviews or a thousand.

Any listed business can request a correction to its own factual details, business hours, address, service area, phone number, and similar information. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. Those come only from the data and the rubric.

Sponsorship, clearly separated

Some pages carry sponsored placements. These are always labelled “Sponsored,” displayed in their own separate section, and kept apart from the earned ranking below them. A sponsored slot never changes where a business lands in the actual rankings.

Who maintains this

Editorial oversight sits with Hannah Nair, Lead Editor, who is responsible for how the rubric is applied and kept consistent across the database. The full directory refreshes monthly, and individual listings carry a “last verified” date so you can see when a specific profile was last checked rather than assuming the whole site updates at once.
